In short

This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party content. Fonts and all other resources are served from this server. Personal data is only processed where this is technically necessary to deliver the site, or when you contact me.

Hosting and server access

When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to the server, in particular your IP address, the requested URL, date and time, and your browser's user agent. This is necessary to deliver the page and protect the server (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server does not keep access logs of this data.

The server is operated by netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Straße 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany, which processes this data on my behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

Local storage

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. This storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG).

Contact by e-mail

If you e-mail me, I process your address and message to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply. E-mail is hosted by Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland, under a data processing agreement. Switzerland has an adequacy decision from the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise them, e-mail hello@bruchner.dev.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
